Our large, wrappy scarf is handwoven in Ludhiana, India from wool with large checks and fringed edges. Boiled for a crinkled finish, heightening the tactile impression.
The artisans use traditional handloom machines to create patterned weaves, keeping heritage techniques alive. The company also has a family foundation fund, providing scholarships to support girls in the district with their education, through both academic support and giving uniforms.
Dry clean only. 78% wool, 22% cotton.
Made in India.
This fabric is handloom woven. Weaving irregularities are a pleasing characteristic of handloom woven items and should not be considered a fault.
