Aude Arago Sculptures
A series of sculptural forms by artist Aude Arago, made from hemp and limestone with a smooth, matte finish. For the mantlepiece, the table or as you will.
Hand sculpted hemp and limestone, with a hollowed centre. Organic, gestural and fluid in form, with a matte finish inspired by the traditional Moroccan Tadelakt technique. Made by contemporary dancer-turned-sculptor Aude Arago. After a thirty-year career in dancing, Aude intuitively turned to sculpting, taking elements of improvisation and movement into her newly found artistic practice.
