Gilliflower Pottery
Hand-thrown in Cornwall by Jana Gilfillian, Gilliflower takes its name from the apple orchard where Jana’s studio stands in rural Cornwall. The greens, blues and greys of the Cornish landscape inform the palette for her stoneware pieces.
Hand-thrown from Cornish clay by Gilliflower Pottery, this mug features slip decoration with a bird image soaring from a bitonal glazed backdrop. Electric-fired with a carefully pulled handle, each piece reflects a thoughtful balance of form and texture.
