Rachel Gray Ceramics

Based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, potter Rachel Gray creates serene ceramics from her home studio, focusing on pieces for the table such as bowls and mugs. She initially studied textiles at Chelsea College of Art and UCA Farnham, first making pots at evening classes. She throws her pieces on the wheel and bisque fires before glazing, using glazes she mixes from raw materials and oxides, then fires in the kiln.
