In our series Community Threads, we bring together the creative individuals who make up our TOAST shop teams and explore the ways in which they thoughtfully style pieces from our new collections.
In this instalment, we visit our London Notting Hill shop, tucked inside a beautifully stuccoed townhouse in the heart of Westbourne Grove. The tree-lined area is celebrated for its distinctive mix of high-end boutiques and independent businesses, set against a backdrop of classic Victorian architecture.
Georgina
A member of our team for the past three years, Georgina is passionate about making and listening to music. “I recently rediscovered to Norah Jones's debut album, Come Away with Me – it’s so warming and nostalgic to me.”
Georgina is 5’6 and wears a UK 8. Here, she wears the Wool Mohair Round Cardigan and Cotton Velvet A Line Skirt. “I love the shape of the cardigan, and the skirt I’ve styled it with has a fun and playful silhouette.”

Angelina
Angelina joined TOAST over the summer. Outside of work, she frequents the many theatres across London. “I recently saw The Maids at the Donmar Warehouse in Covent Garden, which I would really recommend.”
Angelina is 5’8 and wears a UK 8. She has chosen the Patchwork Kantha Stitch Cotton Silk Top and Brushed Linen Cotton Trousers. “The kantha stitching and patchwork detailing on the shirt are beautiful. Paired with these brushed cotton trousers, it’s an elegant but comfortable look.”
Maria
Working as a TOAST Repair specialist in our Notting Hill location since 2021, Maria also values time outside of the city, hiking in nature. “I recently climbed Ararat, a dormant volcano in Eastern Turkey. The views were beautiful!” She recommends the novel Year of the Drought by Roland Buti.
Maria is 5’5 and wears a UK 8-10. She has styled the Wool Linen Double Breasted Jacket, Gathered Neck Cotton Silk Shirt and Denim Pleat Front Trousers. “I love the shape of the blazer; it looks tailored but not too formal, making it a great wardrobe staple for me.”
Jade
Jade has been working at TOAST for over five years. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking – her current favourite recipe is Persian saffron chicken with barberry tahdig – and reading. “I have just finished reading Marabou Stork Nightmares by Irvine Welsh,” she says. “It is one of his more experimental novels, but I really enjoyed the split narrative and pace.”
Jade is 5’3 and wears a UK 8. She is photographed in the Wool Cashmere Oversized Ribbed Sweater and Wool Cashmere Knitted Trousers. “I love how it’s an elevated look, but also comfortable to wear and move in.”
