Social Conscience

We create products that are intended to last for years to come. Every product we make is created from the hard work of many hands and we aim for each one to be responsibly made.

We focus our efforts on the areas we believe will have the biggest impact. Our social conscience framework covers three key areas:

Cherish Materials & Make | Minimise Waste | Enrich & Educate

Our annual Social Conscience Report outlines progress against our commitments, the challenges we face and our next steps.

87% of our 2023 clothing collections were made from solely natural fibres or cellulosic fibres from certified sources.
Our Suppliers

We drive transparency across our supply chain to build trust within our community.

We have long-standing relationships with our makers. We have been working with suppliers that produce the majority of our collections for an average of nine years.

Our supplier audits review areas of social compliance including safe, fair working conditions.

This map shows the geographical positioning of our Tier 1 suppliers, where our products are made and shipped from. It also shows the percentage breakdown of our production spend in each region in 2023, with over 50% supporting manufacturing in Europe.

Last year, we diverted over 3,800 garments from potentially going to landfill.
In 2023, we donated over £9,000 to our charity partners, supporting the development of circular practices and workforce diversity within the UK and global fashion industries.
Last year over 2,300 people attended workshops that taught craft and repair techniques.
