Our kantha gown is made with a handloom woven cotton outer. For warmth, the inner wadding is made from two layers of repurposed cotton saris, which are kantha-stitched and sewn together by women artisans who are part of two Indian cooperatives. The inside is finished with a light cotton lining. Shaped with a centre back seam for ease of movement and dropped shoulders, finished with side ties.
Weaving irregularities are a pleasing characteristic of handloom woven items and should not be considered a fault.
